Newton Abbot car break-ins continue

By Paul James in Crime

A RUN of thieving attacks on cars in Newton Abbot has reached double figures in as many days.

Police have repeated their warnings for vehicle owners to be security-conscious in the wake of the smash and grab antics breaking out across the town.

Latest strikes have been in the Knowles Hill area and at Dyrons car park.

One of the Knowles Hill victims, who lost a sat nav to the dead-of-night pilferers, said: ‘Please be vigilant. These pieces of **** seem to be relentless at the moment.’

The Dyrons target, whose passenger-side window was smashed in, lost a white purse to the offenders.
