Cyclist suffers arm injuries in stationary vehicle collision

A CYCLIST smashed a car’s rear windscreen when it stopped at a zebra crossing in Teignmouth.

The casualty suffered a cut wrist and bruising to his left arm in the collision with a Vauxhall Corsa in Lower Brook Street.

The accident happened just outside the Waitrose store on Friday just before 7.30pm.

The rider, taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital by ambulance, was said to be ‘conscious, breathing and talking’ at the accident scene.
