ROYAL PARTY: Schools from the town celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with music and singing at St Leonard’s Clock Tower, Newton Abbot. Picture Nigel Canham and plenty of othr jubilee pictures in our digital edition and in today's print edition

Very few events succumbed though one of them was Tuesday’s Picnic in the Park in Chudleigh, but a firework display did go ahead as arranged.
