Coombeshead Drama Department recently entered a competition along with 100 other schools and youth theatres to perform a ten minute excerpt from the West End Musical Billy Elliot. They have now just been selected to perform their ten minute scene at the Birmingham Rep theatre. This exciting opportunity will take place on the weekend of the 12th June 2010. Following this event the company will wait to hear if they have been selected as a finalist to perform at the Victoria Palace theatre. Watch this space! (less info)
