TWENTY-ONE Morris dance teams joined in the 21st Teignmouth Folk Festival last weekend.
Teams from across Devon entertained crowds in The Triangle over the three-day event.
And internationally famous folk acts – including Geoff Lakeman, father of Seth, and Jim Causley – played sell-out gigs around the town.
Festival secretary Anne Gill said: ‘It was a very successful weekend and all went well. Everyone enjoyed the free entertainment from the bands and Morris dance teams in The Triangle and the concerts were well attended.
‘We also had a great Ceilidh at New Road Community Centre on the Saturday night.’See the full story in June 28 edition of the paper.
