162 new people in Teignbridge had a confirmed positive test result reported on Thursday, December 30,

According to the latest Government figures, between December 24 and 30, 1,009 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows an increase of 32.2% compared to the previous seven days.

There was one death within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported on December 30.

In the Healthcare of Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust there were 25 patients in hospital with coronavirus on December 21. There were two coronavirus patients in hospital beds with a mechanical ventilator on the same day.
