TWO fire crews tackled a chimney blaze at a two-storey property in Ipplepen this morning.

Firefighters from Torquay were called to Clarendon Road to deal with the incident just after 9.30am.

But an hour later they asked for the aerial platform crew from the resort to join them because of difficult access to the blaze and strong winds.
