ARMED police were called to a property in Newton Abbot last night to deal with a disturbance.
Officers with guns attended an address in Orleigh Cross after receiving a 999 call from the location at 9pm.
The ‘domestic incident’ was resolved without incident when a 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
The detainee, who has not been named but is local to Newton Abbot, remains in police custody this morning.
