A YOUNG man was the victim of an unprovoked attack in Newton Abbot yesterday.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident in Tudor Road off East Street at about 2.30pm.
The targeted man, in his 20s, was on his way home when he was assaulted by
the offender.
Officers say the man sought was about 6ft tall and wearing a light brown parka jacket with a hood.
His victim escaped physical injury.
