ARSONISTS are thought to have torched a car which went up in flames in Newton Abbot this afternoon.
Firefighters in breathing gear used two hosereel jets to douse the flames shooting from the vehicle in Howton Road.
The alarm was raised just after 1pm.
A fire spokesman confirmed: ‘The cause is believed to be deliberate. The vehicle was completely destroyed.’
