A CAR was torched by arsonists in Tedburn St Mary yesterday, firefighters believe.
Firefighters from Exeter dealt with the incident at Heath Cross after the alarm was raised just before 5.30pm.
Two firefighters used a hosereel jet to extinguish the blaze which completely destroyed the vehicle.
Police were asked to attend the incident by the crew at the scene.
