A FORD Focus went off the road and ended up wedged between a large metal sign and a garage door of Automation Co Ltd on the Swift Industrial Estate, off Greenhill Way, Kingsteignton.

An ambulance, a Newton Abbot Fire and Rescue Service crew and police were called to the incident at just after 12.10am yesterday.

The driver and passenger were clear of the car – registered to a Torquay owner – when the emergency services arrived and were checked over by paramedics.
