A CAR started to catch fire after colliding with a bus on the A38 outside Chudleigh this morning (fri).

Police and firefighters dealt with the incident just before midday between Harcombe Cross and the town.

Two pumps from Exeter were despatched after reports that the damaged car had started to smoke.

Everyone was free and clear of the vehicles by the time the emergency services arrived at the scene just after midday.
