FIRE crews from Newton Abbot used hydraulic cutting equipment to release a casualty from one of two vehicles that had been in collision in Rydon Road, Kingsteignton at around 2.40pm on Wednesday.

A police spokesman said one of the drivers had suffered a minor arm injury.

The road was cleared by 3.40pm.
