THREE fire crews responded to reports of a fire in Chudleigh in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Devon and Somerset Fire Service were called to a report of a workshop on fire off Fore Street in the town. One fire appliance from Bovey Tracey and two appliances from Newton Abbot were called out to the incident.
On arrival crews confirmed that a single-floor building used as a workshop was well alight and got to work extinguishing it using two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one firefighting jet.
A fire spokesman said the building used as a woodwork shop and was 100% damaged by the fire which was accidental.
