FIRE crews from Newton Abbot were joined by their colleagues from Torquay in dealing with a single vehicle collision on the A380 yesterday evening (Friday).
Acting on a call from the police fire control sent three fire engines to the scene on the south-bound carriageway between Eagle Farm and Ware Baton junctions just after 7pm.
On arrival crews found one car on its side with one person still inside, although not trapped by injury. Crews stabilised the vehicle and used small tools to assist one male from the car
