A DISHWASHER was the source of a 999 fire shout in Denbury last night.

A crew from the town used a hosereel jet on the offending appliance which had been removed outside for safety before their arrival in Heathfield Road.

The alarm was raised just after 9.30pm.

A fire spokesman the fire had not caused any damage inside the property.
