FOUR cars were involved in a shunt on the Penn Inn roundabout at Newton Abbot during yesterday (Monday) afternoon’s rush-hour.

No one was injured in the bumper-to-bumper bash on the north-bound carriageway involving a Lexus, MG, Peugeot 307 and Toyota at 4pm.

A section of the road was closed to recover the vehicles.

A dog in one of the damaged cars ran off – and was briefly loose on the road - after being spooked by the drama.
