FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a dog from the mud at Hackney Marshes, Kingsteignton, this afternoon (Thursday).
At just after 2pm one fire engine from Torquay and a Specialist Rescue Team from Camels Head were sent to a report of a dog stuck in the mud up to his belly.
A spokesperson at Force Control said: ‘On arrival crews confirmed this Golden Retriever was stuck in a muddy ditch and crews released him unharmed.’
