A WOMAN was taken to hospital after suffering facial injuries in a Kingsteignton road accident on Wednesday.

The casualty, driving a brown Honda, was taken by ambulance to Torbay Hospital.

The driver of the other vehicle, a Nissan Micra, was not hurt in the collision at Orchard Close.

A highways team was called to clear debris from the road after the collision just before 11am.
