AN ELDERLY woman was hurt in a collision with a car in Kingskerswell on Monday afternoon.

The 69-year-old pedestrian suffered a head injury in the accident in Brookedor Gardens just after 4.30pm.

She was taken by ambulance to Torbay Hospital for treatment.

Her injuries were not thought to be serious.
