A COASTAL walker was rushed to hospital after falling and suffering a suspected broken leg near Labrador Bay towards Shaldon on Tuesday afternoon.

Coastguards, the Teignmouth Lifeboat crew and paramedics responded to the drama at the remote spot just after 1pm.

The casualty was stretchered to a nearby waiting ambulance and rushed to hospital for further treatment.
