FIREFIGHTERS attended a Newton Abbot address amid concerns of a carbon monoxide leak.

Examination of the property, where the gas alarm had been triggered on Sunday night, revealed that the device was faulty.

The 999 call, at Trafalgar Close just before 9pm, was considered to be a false alarm with good intent.
