FIREFIGHTERS were called to an oven blaze in Newton Abbot’s Manor Road early today to find the blaze had been extinguished.

Two fire crews from the town used a special high-pressure fan to clear smoke from the property after the alarm was raised just after 1am.

Two sets of breathing gear were worn to deal with the incident.
