BURGLARS escaped with more than £5,000 cash from a property in Newton Abbot.
Police are appealing for information after a couple’s home on the Buckland estate was plundered by the thieves.
The break-in happened between 9.40am and midday on Wednesday last week in Gilbert Road.
The cash had been saved for a holiday.
