Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle collision that occurred on the A380 carriageway earlier today (Wednesday) .

According to Devon and Cornwall Police both they, fire and ambulance crews responded to the incident at 12.15pm today on the A380 at Kingsteignton following reports of a single vehicle collision.

A female, believed to have sustained a possible injury, was taken to Torbay Hospital, although details of her injuries are unknown.

One lane of the south-bound A380 was closed while emegency services dealt with the incident.
