A 27-year-old man has denied sexually assaulting a woman in Newton Abbot.
Ronald Hughes, of Keywood Drive, Sunbury-on-Thames, denied a single count of assault by penetration when he appeared at Exeter Crown Court.
He is alleged to have carried out the offence in Devon on August 6 last year. He says the adult woman consented.
Judge David Evans set a trial date for August 13, 2018 and released him on bail.
