A MOTORCYCLIST has died in an accident in the early hours of this morning (Friday) at Kingsteignton.

At around 2.20am this morning, emergency services were called to a single vehicle accident involving a blue motorcycle on the Strap Lane, Kingsteignton.

A police spokesperson reporter: ‘The male rider of the motorcycle, was sadly pronounced deceased at hospital and next of kin have been informed.

‘The road was closed for a number of hours whilst a forensic examination of the collision scene was conducted.

‘Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision, or the vehicle prior to the collision.’

Also anyone who has CCTV along Strap Lane or who has dash camera footage is urged to contact police, quoting the log number 88 of 21/08/20.
