A man suffered a head injury in Newton Abbot over the weekend.
Police were called to Market Street in the town at 1.45am on Sunday morning to reports of an assault.
A man in his 20s sustained a minor head injury in the early morning drama.
Two men – aged 23 and 24 – were arrested on suspicion of assault and were taken into police custody.
Both suspects were released under investigation pending further enquiries.
