A MAN with a head injury was taken to hospital after an incident in the Jetty Marsh Road area of Newton Abbot early yesterday.

The 21-year-old casualty, who has not been named, was taken by ambulance to Torbay Hospital after a 999 call was received at 3.20am.

It is not known whether the man was assaulted or the victim of an accident.

Police are making inquiries.
