POLICE are looking for a 22-year-old man who failed to turn up to a court hearing in Newton Abbot last week.
Samuel Micklewright was meant to go before the town’s magistrates’ court last Friday for theft, possession of heroin and breaching a court order.
But the young man didn’t show up and now police want to track him down.
Micklewright was last seen in Torquay and has links across Torbay and South Devon.
He is described as 5ft 8ins tall, of stocky build with short, dark brown hair and facial hair.
A police spokesman said: ‘Enquiries have been made by police to locate him and we are now appealing to the public for information about his whereabouts and to report any sightings.’
Anyone who sees Micklewright is asked not to approach him and call 999 immediately quoting CR/015805/18.
