A FORTY-YEAR-OLD Newton Abbot man suffered facial injuries after being assaulted in the town over the Easter holiday.
The casualty received a suspected broken nose and cheek in the attack in East Street.
He was taken by ambulance to Torbay Hospital for treatment.
The outburst happened just after 1pm on Saturday.
Police said no details of the offender had been passed to them.
