A MOTORIST caught up in a High Street bust-up in Bovey Tracey is being sought by police.

Officers want to trace a man involved in an incident with a woman whose car was allegedly blocking his access to a yard near the town hall in Fore Street.

The clash happened just before 7pm on October 19, a Wednesday.

The driver sought, wearing a high-vis jacket, was in a small white van.

A police spokesman said the pair were involved in a verbal altercation after the man complained about the woman’s parked car blocking his way.

Anyone with information about the matter, including the man in the van, should ring officers on 101, quoting CR/074503/16.

The incident has been logged as a public order matter.
