A MAN reported missing from Newton Abbot on Friday has now been located safe and well.

Police had been carrying out searches for 69-year-old Maurice Button, who went missing from home on Friday morning, 16 October.

According to a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman he was found in the East Devon area late yesterday afternoon (Sunday, October 18)

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in searching for him.
