A pair of teenagers, one of them from Newton Abbot, have appeared at Exeter Crown Court accused of wounding a man in a lane in Torquay.
Jessica Oldbury, aged 18, of Windsor Avenue, Newton Abbot, and Michael Eagles, aged 19, of Lower Warberry Road, Torquay, both deny wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Eagles also denies having a knife as an offensive weapon in Castle Lane, Torquay, on the day of the alleged attack on November 15.
Recorder Mr Jonathan Barnes set a trial date of May 14, 2018. He remanded Eagles in custody and released Oldbury on bail.
