A MAN has died following a two vehicle collision near Buckfasteigh yesterday (Sat, 1st Sept).

Police were notified of an incident involving two vehicles on the A384 near Buckfastleigh between the Dartbridge A38 junction and Green Lane just after 7.15am.

Fire, police and ambulance crews attended the scene and the road was closed in both directions until mid-afternoon as police carried out investigation work.

A police spokesman said : "The collision involved two vans. The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced deceased at the scene. while the other driver received minor injuries."

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 101 quoting log number 228 of 01 September 2018
