Part of Jetty Marsh Road in Newton Abbot was sealed off this morning (Saturday) as emergency services dealt with an undisclosed incident in the area.
Police, fire crews and Environment Agency personnel have been at the scene believed to be in the vicinity of the Whitelakes Outfall Structure.
The force incident manager for the police was unable to give any details at this as investigations are still ongoing.
