MORE than £3,000 of garden equipment has been stolen from four sheds and a garage in Haytor Vale, Haytor.

The thefts occurred overnight on Wednesday and Thursday last week and police want to hear from anyone who saw anybody acting suspiciously in the area.

Among the items taken were chain saws, leaf blowers and strimmers.

A Chudleigh police spokesman said if residents saw anyone in their garden they should telephone 999 immediately.
