FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a vehicle blaze in a driveway in Ness Drive, Shaldon, early today.
A crew from Teignmouth used a hosereel jet to knock out the flames which severely damaged the motor.
A fire spokesman said the cause of the blaze was accidental. The alarm was raised just before 3am.
