A TODDLER was rescued by firefighters in Kingsteignton this morning after accidentally being locked in a car.

Newton Abbot firefighters used specialist gear to release the two-year-old unharmed from the vehicle in Newton Road.

The emergency call for their assistance was made at 10.30am.
