FIRE crews used cutting gear to rescue a trapped road crash victim involved in a three-vehicle smash on the A380 between Newton Abbot and Exeter this afternoon. (Monday) The accident happened at 2pm on the Newton Abbot-bound carriageway between Wapperwell and Ashcombe Cross. Crews were called in from Exeter and Teignmouth.
