A CHALET was badly damaged this afternoon (Wednesday) when a tree fell on it at Finlake in Chudleigh.

A spokesperson for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: ‘A fire appliance from Bovey Tracey was sent to a tree that had come down on a chalet.

‘Crews confirmed all persons were accounted for, and liaised with site staff to make the scene safe using tape, and isolated utilities.

‘The chalet was badly damaged but no-one was reported hurt. Duty of care was left with the duty manager.’
