TWO people were taken to hospital after their car crashed into a building on Dartmoor yesterday (Sunday).

All three emergency services dealt with the incident at Merrivale at 5.30am.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene where both casualties were found to be free from their damaged vehicle.

A police spokesman said: ‘The passenger had minor injuries and the driver had injuries which were not believed to be life-changing.

‘Both were taken to hospital by land ambulance.’

No other vehicles were involved.
