STORY UPDATED: 35-year-old Daniel Dawes from Ivybridge, the source of a major search across Dartmoor over the weekend, has been found safe and well, police reported this morning (Jan 9).CONCERNS are growing for a 35-year-old man believed to be missing on Dartmoor.
Ashburton-based search and rescue volunteers were among a clutch of groups drafted in to help look for 35-year-old Daniel Dawes from Ivybridge over the weekend.
He has not been seen since December 29, prompting Saturday’s widespread sweep of the national park which drew a blank.
It was one of the biggest searches the Ashburton group has been involved with.
A spokesman said: ‘We have been stood down until further notice and the Devon and Cornwall Police investigation continues.’
