THE hairs on the back of my neck are standing up as the claps and cheers across Teignbridge show our support for our amazing NHS workers.

All across town there are cheers, shouts and clanging bells and horns during the 8pm Clap for our Carers.

We may be in lockdown and all fearing the worst from this terrible coronavirus pandemic, but I hope no NHS worker is left in any doubt about how much we appreciate what they are facing now and what is to come.
