A WOMAN was injured during a late-night disturbance in Chagford.
Police and paramedics were called to Mill Street after five women were involved in a dispute at 11.30pm last night.
A 38-year-old woman is thought to have fallen and banged her head on the ground during the dust-up.
The woman, who has not been named, suffered swelling and scratches to her head in the tumble.
Just before midnight she was taken by ambulance to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital for a scan.
She was kept in overnight and later allowed home.
Police are appealing information from anyone who witnessed the outburst.
They should ring police on 101, quoting crime reference CR/008860/17.
