A WOMAN sustained a leg injury in a road accident between Wapperwell and Eagle Farm on the A380 just outside Kingsteignton over the weekend.

Two fire crews from Newton Abbot and Exeter attended the one-car incident just after 12.30pm on Saturday.

It was initially thought the vehicle had caught alight, but crews confirmed no fire was involved.

A woman was treated at the scene by firefighters – and later paramedics – for a minor leg injury.
