A YOUNG boy was assaulted and robbed near Penn Inn Roundabout in Newton Abbot just before 8am last Friday.
The 12-year-old lad smacked his head after being pushed to the floor and having his wallet stolen by an unknown offender.
Police revealed the youngster had been walking in the direction of the roundabout at 7.50am when he was attacked.
The assailant is described as a 6ft tall white male with tanned complexion and was wearing charcoal grey jogging bottoms.
Police are urging anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact officers by calling 101 or emailing [email protected] quoting CR/091900/18.
