Looking on are grateful members of the Holne Community Shop and Tea Room who benefited from Mr Gray’s prizewinning handiwork in the shape of a new laid hedge to spruce up a once ‘rather tired and neglected’ border.

Mr Gray, the resident village tree warden, provided his services free. The volunteer-run facility now boasts a garden with better sunlight and improved views.
