Sixth form students from across Teignbridge are celebrating more record A-level results, released yesterday.
For Newton Abbot College, it was a fifth consecutive year of records.
For the second year running, the pass rate was 100 per cent, with 25 per cent of entries at the top A* and A grades, up from 21 per cent last year.
Among the star performers were Tim Shute, who achieved three A* grades; Matthew Powell, who achieved three A grades; Liam Chapman and Amy Whiteway, who each achieved one A*, one A and a B grade; and Jordan Brookes and Aimee Myers, who each achieved two A grades and a B grade.
